Paper Sizes – A0, A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6

Paper Sizes Explained

In the UK most paper is based around the A-series (A0, A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, etc). If you’re not used to working with different paper sizes on a daily basis you might find it a little confusing when trying to work out what size your printing is going to be, so here’s a list of all the common paper sizes we use!

A0 – 841x1189mm
A1 – 594 x 841mm
A2 – 420 x 594mm
A3 – 297 x 420mm
A4 – 210 x 297mm
A5 – 148 x 210mm
A6 – 105 x 148mm
A7 – 74 x 105mm
A8 – 52 x 74mm
A9 –  37 x 52mm
A10 – 26 x 37mm

DL – 100 x 210mm
Business Cards – 55 x 85mm

** Interesting fact – Envelopes use a slightly larger size scale (‘C’)… so if you need an envelope that will fit A4, you’ll need to get C4 envelopes. The extra few mm allows the a4 paper to slide in and out easily without getting ruffled. **

That’s it – easy as a1, a2, a3! 😉
